Eagles U16s get off to a great start in their first South West Conference league match. After a nervous start the Eagles trailed by 3 points going into the second period. But it was only a matter of time before the Eagles superior team work took control. The Eagles, led by Lucas Aleksandravicius on his debut for the club, made 3 of his 4 three-pointers and went into the half-time break with an 8 point advantage (33-25).

The third period started with a dominant display of rebounding by Colin Doig and Daniel Burley with support from Tom Watson which Bath had no answer to. With Mike Bird and Jacob Caudle showing great maturity the Eagles restricted the visitors to 7 points in the final period which enabled coach, Lucie Krizkova, to play all 12 players.

The Eagles make their first appearance in the league table in 5th place but all 4 teams above them have already played 2 games .

This weekend the U-16s pay a visit to, as yet, winless Reading Rockets II so let's hope the winning form continues!
